This year the May Day Holiday fell upon May 1st and Grimsby Morris Men embarked upon a “Tea Room Tour”. It was also an opportunity, early in our summer dance season to show off the new 50th anniversary badges, worn on our kit and for Stan (our Hobby Boar mascot) to show off his Golden Tusks!

Dancing began at Claytons Corner Café at Howsham before moving on to Caistor lakes and then to the Dunn Deal Tea Rooms at Nettleton. The weather was kind and the audiences appreciative and enthusiastic. After so much tea, coffee and cake the team “fell off the waggon" (so to speak) with a final dance at the Salutation , Nettleton followed by an enjoyable singing and music session in the bar. A very good day out for all!
